I have been home for 3 weeks and thought it was about time that I did an update of my last few weeks. After leaving Niger I had a couple of days in England with family. It was hard to be in my grandparents house without my grandmother there but to have a chance to spend time with family and reminisce about her was nice.
My travels home took me to Germany where I stayed with my mum’s cousin and her family. Then onto Singapore where I was able to catch up with a high school friend.
Staying with Lucy and Pete and their beautiful girls.
Camping overnight in the Swiss Alps
Going to Colmar in France for Lunch.
After my time in Germany I headed to Singapore. This was a new adventure for me as I was truly travelling on my own. My friend was working through the days so I had to entertain my self. I was staying at the SIM guest house and had arranged to share about Sahel during the devotions at the SIM office. After getting on the wrong bus I finally made it and was able to share some photos and prayer needs.
I took a cable car to Sentosa Island, which became a little alarming as it stopped mid way leaving me hanging over the water for a minute.
I visited the national orchid garden on a very warm and humid day making me feel all the more ready to get home to an cool Australian winter.
